May 2006 - We started receiving complaints about emails appearing from this domain, offering or suggesting services. We want to go on record stating that we do not send any emails from this domain. What you are seeing is what is called "Email Spoofing."
In our words, Email Spoofing is where an email is sent to appear like it is from a reputable domain/source, but in actuality it is from another. This is why when you complain to your ISP about spam, they ask for the Full Headers of the emails, since Return Addresses, and Reply-To Addresses are not indicators of an emails source. Within the header, there is typically a domain name or ip address of REAL source of the email. In our experiences, having received a few ourselves, the source for the spam email, is outside the US. Outside our laws, and definitely outside this site's control.
If you receive a spam email indicating some relation to this site, please feel free to report it to your ISP. Please include the full headers of the spam email, so they can help filter the REAL source of the email from your accounts. Also, if you feel you need to 'filter' any email from this domain, feel free to do so, we have not send emails from this domain, and intend not to.
For more information bout spoof mails, I've copied and pasted information from WikiPedia:
Spoof mail From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Spoof Mail is email which appears to come from one source but is actually sent by another. It is often associated with spoof websites which mimic an actual, well-known website but are run by another party - usually with fraudulent intentions.
Other email frauds including phishing and email hoaxes often use spoofing in an attempt to give their emails some authenticity.
